Watches all ~65 of my projects and keeps their Claude Code setups optimized and running cleanly: surfacing CI failures, stale or unpushed work, and config drift, and proposing the fix from one seat. proof caseBefore a fix runs, Command commits its exact success metric and target to git, so the bar cannot move afterward to fit the result. false-provingA measure reporting success from random noise alone. Caught and bounded before the measure is trusted on a real case.
during this weekWorked a queue of finished fixes stuck at review, and found that several of the operator’s own checks, including its independent reviews, were not measuring what they claimed.
archiveNightly digests and the weekly lint checked their claims against source
Saturday’s digest opened as a change whose own review found several overclaims of exactly the kind the knowledge base’s rules exist to catch, and they were fixed before it merged. Sunday’s run checked every quoted anchor against its source file before writing its pages, and every one matched. The weekly lint came back clean on its mechanical checks, noted that one coverage gap is still open, and left its entry on a branch that has not been pushed.
goal Make my operator's behavior reliably evolvable through skills and durable rulesFinished fixes piled up at the independent review gate
Fixes written early in the week sat unmerged because the session that writes a fix cannot give it the clean review the merge gate needs, among them a check that a session citing the Owner’s decision actually has his words, and a fix for counting each forked copy of a conversation as its own session. When a new manager took over the queue at the end of the week, three of those fixes hit a new cap on review rounds, because each round repaired the case a reviewer named but not the class behind it. Fresh reviewers took two documentation fixes through several rounds, and one found that the documented fallback would erase guidance saved earlier.
goal Build a signal engine that turns my own chat history into targeted improvementsRetired a CI run that had never caught a real defect
A study asked whether the operator needs its test run on every push to the main branch. Since early July that run had failed only a handful of times, all within the same hour on one day and all the same known Windows cleanup flake. The trigger was retired.
goal Keep a live status picture across all my projectsFound that reviews run through the manager’s own subagents were not independent
On the last day several merges rested on review gates the standing manager had run through its own subagents, which the authorship check counts as the manager itself, including a visual-QA fix that merged after eleven rounds. A retro of the shift found two of those subagents had switched off the automatic review hook, believing that was what the no-self-review rule asked, which also hid them from the check that detects self-review. A fix for those routes followed and is parked for the Owner’s decision, after its own review sent it back with open findings.
goal Make my operator's behavior reliably evolvable through skills and durable rulesFixed status checks that reported success they could not know
The manager shift and its heartbeat checks kept catching tools that answered with more confidence than they had earned: a CI check that reported a success it could not tie to the current base, a capacity number that always showed every slot free and was being taught as a measurement, and a visual check that passed after capturing nothing. Each was fixed so it stops claiming what it cannot know, and a launcher write that cannot say what it would overwrite is now refused. Several of those fixes merged on reviews the manager had run through its own subagents, which a later check found were not independent.
goal Keep a live status picture across all my projectsDesk heartbeat found work that existed on one disk only
Every two hours an unattended heartbeat re-checked parked work, woke the standing manager when it sat idle or stuck on a prompt, and marked finished the work that had merged without anyone recording it. It found the main checkout had drifted far from the remote, holding hundreds of unpushed commits and a test suite that had been failing unnoticed since Friday, and the launcher records that lived only on that disk were committed and pushed. Several of its own calls were wrong, including one that reported the manager hung, and each was corrected on the record.
goal Keep a live status picture across all my projectsReview rounds on a nightly knowledge-base update kept finding errors the last fix added
Monday night’s update to the operator’s knowledge base sat open for most of the week while review after review found real errors, including a shared file timestamp that had been read as three sessions dying at once. The corrections kept adding new precise claims their sources did not support, and each session that fixed them could no longer give the change a clean review. After several rounds the recommendation was to cut the contested passages back to what nobody had disproved rather than run another correction, and the update merged on Saturday.
goal Make my operator's behavior reliably evolvable through skills and durable rulesRepair loop landed fixes for preview links, visual checks, and publishing
The unattended repair loop takes one friction report per firing and fixes it in a pull request it cannot approve itself. Fixes that merged this week include a check that a preview link still works before it is handed over, a fallback to the machine’s own Chrome when visual checks lack their bundled browser, a warning that tells a desk it cannot publish before it tries, and a backend restart that refuses to serve the wrong data store. The loop also removed idle worktrees whose work had already merged, and closed two issues whose fixes had landed earlier.
goal Build a signal engine that turns my own chat history into targeted improvementsWrote the Owner’s ruling on self-completing work into the delegation rules
The Owner had ruled that reviewed, green work should finish on its own, and a draft writing that into the delegation rules was stranded unpushed on one machine. It was rescued and opened as a change, and an independent reviewer found it granted more than the rulings did while also editing a file only the Owner may sign off on. After that fix, a conflict repair, and a fresh review, the change merged on Saturday once its hold was lifted.
goal Make my operator's behavior reliably evolvable through skills and durable rulesOne definition-of-done list that projects can extend but not shrink
Definition-of-done rules were scattered across the delegation rules, the merge policy, the operator’s instructions, and the global instructions every session inherits. They are now gathered into one list where every rule cites its source, and a project can add rules but cannot remove or override one. Review took three rounds, because the fix for one blocker carried a new one and a citation pointed at the wrong document.
goal Make my operator's behavior reliably evolvable through skills and durable rulesMade a job with an empty package install fail instead of reporting nothing
A scheduled job running in a checkout with an empty package folder could report a confident empty result instead of an error. The preflight now checks that the install is healthy rather than merely present, and a companion change pinned the weekly cleanup sweep’s apply gate with tests before anyone switches it on. That change’s reviewer showed the tests would still pass if the gate were bypassed where it is called, and the gap was recorded.
goal Keep a live status picture across all my projectsPrepared the goal decisions the Owner needs before anything is built
Nightly shifts had flagged the same item for days, far more goals active than the cap allows, with no way for staff to know which to close. That ask was rebuilt into a decision naming which goals stay active and which close, each with a reason, and offering the Owner three choices. A second study recovered the intended goal-card design from the Owner’s voice transcripts in the Codex logs before anyone built from the short rule list filed from it, and found that the drill-down it depends on has no data behind it yet.
goal Build an always-aware autonomous operator that runs my standing goals with minimal hand-holdingRetro found the operator busy with its own records while finished work sat unmerged
A retro of four days found that most of the operator’s commits touched only its own launcher records, handoffs, and boards, while a single pull request merged and twenty sat open. A re-measurement found the capacity fixes from earlier in the week had landed without moving throughput, and a cost review found a one-line footer change on the site had taken nearly two days, sessions on two AI systems, and four reviews that found nothing wrong with its code. A nightly measure of how long finished work sits unmerged was also merged, though it is not running yet.
goal Mine my own chat history for the methods that actually improve resultsStanding manager shift cleared work that had waited most of a week
A standing manager session ran for two days, dispatching and gating units in the operator and two other projects. On the first day a dozen changes landed, including records and a nightly update that had waited most of a week, and a fix so expired work claims stop holding capacity after one stale claim had held a third of it for about two days. It handed over to a successor manager at the end of the week.
goal Build an always-aware autonomous operator that runs my standing goals with minimal hand-holdingCapacity count fix passed review, then parked on a checkout decision
A fix to how the manager counts productive workers went to an independent reviewer, who found the same defect one layer out: when the step that works out which sessions are workers failed, the count still came back as a false zero. While fixing it, the author found that one remedy passed every test yet still let a forged productive row through, so its own suite had proved nothing about that path. The second version was reviewed clean and is parked behind a decision about the diverged main checkout.
goal Keep a live status picture across all my projectsTraced the week’s CI blackout to an exhausted Actions spending cap
Early in the week every GitHub Actions run on the account began failing again within seconds with no runner, so nothing in the operator’s repository could merge. A scheduled re-check measured the cause from billing: the monthly spending cap had run out and the fleet had been dark for about two and a half days, and that record merged. Once the cap was raised, it and two other sessions verified the recovery for themselves, pulled a false emergency off the top of the Owner’s digest, and corrected a claim that had credited the recovery to the wrong cause.
goal Keep a live status picture across all my projectsUnattended repair firings stopped at guards instead of routing around them
Many firings reached the right answer and then stopped at a guard. The launcher lets a shift read issues but not close them, so issues whose premise had already proven false stayed open; the permission layer refused worktree removal; and the always-loaded rules file had almost no room left for one more rule. Items that kept hitting the same wall were rediagnosed as the wrong layer or as ill-posed so they stop spending attempts, and one firing stood down cleanly when its sensor crashed three times.
goal Build a signal engine that turns my own chat history into targeted improvementsNightly monitor shifts kept one goal-cap finding in front of the Owner
Each night an unattended shift checked the checkout, the backend, and the work tray, then clocked out flagged without changing anything. The same top finding held all week, far more active goals than the cap allows, and it stayed on one open decision instead of being refiled nightly, while later shifts noted that with the letter paused their findings had no daily route to the Owner. The weekly sweep held many leftover worktrees because its liveness check could not tell whether they were still in use, and the weekly scan for an open Claude contest found none.
goal Keep a live status picture across all my projectsDaily letters assembled early in the week, then paused by the Owner
From Monday to Wednesday the letter was assembled and opened as a pull request each morning, but none merged, because the session that writes a letter cannot sign its own review and from Monday night CI was down as well. The letters still surfaced stale desk rows, the run of CI failures, and a stack of site pull requests waiting on a merge. After the Owner paused the letter on Wednesday, each morning’s run found the pause and stopped, one only after assembling a draft that it set aside.

during this weekFixed the footer’s contact link for employers, while the content freshness check and the weekly work log both waited on review.
archiveFixed the footer’s contact link for employers
A one-line fix to where the site footer sends employers who want to get in touch had been left unpushed, so it was pushed somewhere durable, opened as a pull request, and reviewed clean. The reviewer then confirmed that merging to the main branch publishes the live site, which the dispatch had assumed it would not, and the merge was held. It merged later that day.
goal Keep this site clean, accurate, and currentContent freshness check held after review broke one of its fixes
The site is getting a weekly check that flags content whose facts may have gone stale. This session closed the six review findings on its pull request, but independent reviewers showed the fix for one of them could discard the right evidence whenever an older correction was still open, so it stopped rather than patch a third time. The change stayed open for another round.
goal Keep this site clean, accurate, and currentWeekly work log stalled behind its own open review
Monday’s preview job cleared a half-removed checkout folder, rebuilt it at the pending work-log update, and served that update on localhost for review. The update was still unmerged by Sunday, so the weekly run stopped at its guard against opening a second pull request, and the log fell another week behind.

archiveFindings miner’s top blog candidate didn’t survive a check against its source
The weekly run mines session logs for solved problems that might make a post. Its top candidate turned out to be an error in a throwaway script the session itself had written rather than a bug in someone else’s software, and several issues it had counted as third-party were in my own repositories. The configuration was corrected, a finding I had already declined was recorded so it is not offered again, and the result was opened for review.

Preregistered appearance test on a personal computer-vision project came back a fail
A research cycle took the project’s top open gap, that nothing measured how its rebuilt models look, set a pass bar in advance, and ran it against both existing classes of subject. The bar failed, the program’s first failing result. Review then broke two of the cycle’s own published claims, including an inflated code-reuse figure that reversed its conclusion, and both were corrected in place with the result unchanged.
